Thought of the Week

Georgie’s PrayersTruly speaking, nothing new has happened today. Do not wait for the celebration of something new in Time until the minutes, the hours, the days, the months add up to a year. Celebrate the immediately succeeding second by an honest effort to get lasting joy. There is no touch of meanness in trying to get joy or Ananda. It is only the means that make it unworthy and futile. As a matter of fact, it is to fill himself with Ananda that man has come to this world, equipped with speech, mind, intelligence and conscience. Only man has the chance and the capacity among all living beings. But man has forgotten his goal and is wandering in the wilderness of trivial pleasure.

Thought of the Week

tibethan-prayer.jpgFirst, tend your parents with love, reverence and gratitude. Second, speak the truth and act virtuously. Third, whenever you have a few moments to spare, repeat the Name of the Lord, remembering the Form in your mind.  Fourth, never indulge in talking ill of others or try to discover other’s faults. And finally, never cause pain to others in any form.

Thought of the Week

georgie.jpgEveryone should realize that to attain oneness with divinity is the goal of human life. Hence it is everyone’s duty to develop faith in the Divine. With the growth of faith, if one leads a life devoted to Dharma (righteousness), Sathya (truth) and Neethi (justice), he will be achieving the purpose of life. When we practice Dharma, the Divinity in us will manifest itself spontaneously. The man who does not follow Dharma is a burden on the earth. It is more important to earn the grace of God than earn all the wealth in the world. Develop the love of God and realize the bliss that is beyond all words.

Thought of the Week

Georgie’s PrayersThe primary requisite for man is to realize the divine potency in him that is the source of all the faculties and talents in him. This is true whether one is an atheist, a theist or an agnostic. No one in the world can survive without this energy. It may be called by different names. Names are not important. The energy is one. It is this divine energy which directs mankind on the right path. Men should strive to recognize the presence of the Divine in everything
